The PSTAR is a written examination that a student studying for their Private Pilot Licence in Canada must pass (with 90%) before being awarded their Student Pilot Permit.  Studying for this exam can be an onerous task, as there are 192 questions that a student must research as part of their study.  This one day course is designed for those who want to get this done: study during the day, and take the exam at the end.

This ground school is for those planning to apply for a Private Pilot License, and highly recommended for those intending to apply for a Recreational Pilot Permit. The application for a Private Pilot License requires the candidate to have completed a minimum of 40 hours of ground school attendance prior to sitting the PPAER written examination.
This ground school is for those planning to apply for a Commercial Pilot License. The application for a Commercial Pilot License requires the candidate to have completed a minimum of 80 hours of ground school attendance prior to sitting the CPAER written examination.
This ground school is for those planning to apply for an Instrument Rating. Remarkably the application for an Instrument Rating does not require the candidate to have completed any ground school. It is our recommendation that students for this rating attend this ground school prior to sitting the INRAT written examination.

Marshalling is one-on-one visual communication and a part of aircraft ground handling. It may be as an alternative to, or additional to, radio communications between the aircraft and air traffic control. The usual equipment of a marshaller is a reflecting safety vest, a helmet with acoustic earmuffs, and gloves or marshaling wands–handheld illuminated beacons. This training course provides you with the skills to marshal aircraft.
